Values and Ethos

At Buttsbury, it is our aim to work in partnership with parents in order that children can reach their potential.
We aim to do this by, creating a happy and caring educational environment which is
stimulating, challenging, enjoyable, and within which every child can develop to their full potential.

The principles which guide our work are;
To respond to the intellectual, spiritual, physical, personal and social needs of every child.
To provide a broad, balanced and fun curriculum accessible to all.
To enhance communication and co-operation between all of the partners involved in the education of our pupils.
To maintain mutual respect for all involved.

Buttsbury Infant School is committed to diversity and equality of opportunity for all and is
opposed to any form of less favourable treatment and harassment
on the grounds of race, religious beliefs, creed, colour, nationality,
ethnic or national origins, gender, marital status, parental status, age, sexual orientation or disability.
